The power of the SAER multi-stage PAT helps the mining operator reduce the amount of grid electricity imported
The PAT was installed in parallel with an existing pressure reduction station on a DN 150 pipe which transports cooling water from the surface down to the bottom of the mine.
The turbine is located 300 m under ground.
Instead of dissipating the water pressure in the form of heat and noise, the E-TMZ multi-stage PAT generates power which helps the mine operator reduce the amount of grid electricity they need to import.
